Sable International are a company that specialises in professional services. They manage the accounting, wealth, financial and nationality needs of clients. Sable International also have a team of money exchange specialists known as Sable Forex, who will assist you with international money transfers.

Transferring money internationally can be intimidating, and it can quickly become expensive when you’re unsure of the best way to do it. There are indeed ways to transfer funds safely to different countries without losing your money. Sable Forex is one organisation that is there to help you do that.

Pros
  • Provides multiple services: personal, business, and currency risk management
  • Choose personal assistance or use their simple online option to transfer money your way
  • No minimum or maximum transfer amounts
  • Competitive exchange rates
  • Low fees, none hidden, plus incentives for making multiple transfers
Cons
  • Fees are higher with smaller transfers
  • While transfers typically clear within three days, if you need to guarantee a faster transfer, you must upgrade your service
  • Payment methods are limited, and credit cards other than South African cards aren’t accepted
  • Online transfer destinations are limited; if the website doesn’t list the country you need, you must call Sable for inquiries and information

How It Works

Ease-of-use is one of Sable Forex’s best features. Individuals or corporations wishing to transfer money internationally must first register for an account. Individuals may do so online if desired, while someone representing a company must download and complete paperwork and call a forex specialist to do so.

Once you have an account with Sable Forex, you’ll activate it by providing scanned or photographed copies of your passport as well as proof of your physical address. When you’ve completed this step, you will have met the requirements and will be set to transfer money.

How Safe Is It?

Sable boasts an incredibly secure website and system. Your account and your money are safe. The website’s 128-bit encryption system offers the best data protection available.

Your money is safe with the company itself as well. Sable is fully accredited, licensed, and/or registered in Australia, South Africa, the UK, and Hong Kong. Wherever your money is going in the world, Sable is held accountable for it.

How Much Does It Cost?

Fees vary depending on the size of your transfer and country to which you are sending money. Some destinations are more expensive than others. Further, smaller transfers carry larger fees. Sable Forex doesn’t provide definitive fee information online beyond an example that doesn’t represent changes, but they welcome calls to discuss fees.

What Exchange Rate Will I Get?

Currency exchange rates vary and can change throughout the day as the Sable Forex team makes changes in response to the market. As a general rule, the exchange rate Sable Forex offers is between the Interbank rate and the rate provided by large banks.

How Do I Send or Receive Money from Overseas?

Once you have an account, you can send and receive online from anywhere in the world, any time of the day or night. Ease and convenience are two benefits Sable Forex offers.

You also have the option of working with their private client desk for individualised help in sending and receiving money. This service helps find the best exchange rates for you and your circumstances.

How Do I Pay?

Sable Forex accepts payment and transfers money in two ways: through internet banking or with a GBP denominated UK debit card. Each has its own instructions for payment.

The preferred method is the UK debit card. With a debit card, you’ll be able to complete your transaction entirely on the Sable website. Submit your request using their system, and the process begins immediately. No other actions are needed.

If you use internet banking, you have an additional step. Once you complete your transfer request and instructions by uploading the information to Sable International, you then log in to your bank account and transfer money to your Sable International client account.

Despite internet banking’s extra step of working with your bank account as well as your Sable account, both methods are easy and convenient. You’re free to choose your preferred method from these two options.

Can I Pay by Credit Card?

You cannot pay by credit card. Further, you cannot receive money onto a credit card except South African credit cards.

What Currencies Can I Transfer?

Sable Forex claims to transfer almost all world currencies. Only some can be moved by you independently with your online account, however. For currencies other than these, they request that you call them to speak directly with one of their specialists. The common currencies that you can transfer online include:

  • AUD Australian Dollar
  • NZD New Zealand Dollar
  • ZAR South African Rand
  • GBP British Pound
  • HKD Hong Kong Dollar
  • EUR Eurozone Euro
  • PLN Polish Zloty
  • USD United States Dollar
  • CAD Canadian Dollar
  • SEK Swedish Kroner
  • CHF Swiss Franc

What Services Do They Offer for Businesses?

Individuals and businesses are each able to transfer money using Sable Forex online or through their personal services. They do provide extra services for businesses.

Payments are suited to the needs of your business and are flexible and straightforward. Experts at Sable Forex will watch the market for you and inform you of movements. This way, your time is free for doing what you need to do to grow your business. Of course, you will receive assistance from the experts when you need it.

Sable Forex provides safe and convenient international money transfers.
