Case Study

Amy is from the UK and has moved to Australia to work as an Au Pair in Melbourne. Having never been to Australia before, she had no idea about who the best bank was to set up an account with.

When she visited a Westpac branch, she enquired about setting up Debit Card account. She was told that, as she planned to both work and travel, that the Westpac Choice Account was her best option.

She discovered that she would not be charged for ATM withdrawals unlike other banks when she withdrew from a Westpac branch, or over 50,000 ATMs overseas. She also loved the idea of having an award-winning mobile banking app where she could control and budget her AUD funds easily, all at the touch of her fingerprint.

As she was also new to Australia, she did not have to pay a monthly fee. Bonus!
