AUD to EUR Forecasts

The AUD EUR has taken a hit over the last month, dropping 4%. Anti-Eurozone talk is escalating, which is driving uncertainty and volatility in the Euro. With so many moving parts influencing the Australian dollar and the Euro, what are the major banks saying about the AUD to EUR next year? This article shows the different bank outlooks and is updated regularly.

AUD to EUR Bank Predictions

The AUD to EUR exchange rate peaked in early June around 0.65, but has since fallen again. Recent declines were more than the major banks were originally expecting.

A falling AUD EUR trend this year is being driven by a weaker Australian dollar, rather than strength in the Euro.

In fact, the Euro has been under pressure lately with political issues in Turkey and Italy and slower economic growth in major Eurozone countries. Meanwhile, the Australian dollar hit 3-year lows earlier in the month.

The AUD to EUR rate is currently at 0.6165. Or to put it another way, $1 AUD is equivalent to €0.6165 EUR at the moment.
